What We Do
Supporting Women. Strengthening Communities.
CWFI outreach UK support women in need Physically, Emotionally, Socially and Intellectually and work in partnership with other like minded organisations e.g Charity organisations that supports the homeless providing food and clothing to those in need, Training agency who train and up-skill, volunteers and the women, Prayer ministries, Business communities and church ministers.
Activities such as Business seminars for small and medium scale Enterprises are organised, Counselling sessions, Prayer sessions and celebration of successes.
Assistance for People in Need
At CWFI we organise provisions to distribute food to the less privileged and others in need.
Training and Business Workshops
Training in areas of domestic and community benefit e.g. Awareness of Domestic Violence, Health Care and Social Issues, infection prevention and Control Health and Safety, Employability skills and IT training. Business workshops to empower women to find diverse areas of income to strengthen their economic power and financial strength.
Visit to Hospice – Nursing Homes
At CWFI some members are pastors and apply to be on the list to pray for individuals who need prayers in hospitals, hospices and care homes. Gift parcels and time chatting with residents.
Prisons Visits
CWFI ministers plan to engage in prison visits to strengthen people in prison and encourage them with the love of Jesus Christ.
Home Visits
CWFI ministers pay home visit to women that have been identified to be in situations where they need support. During the visit food is taken to those who need it, prayers offered, counselling offered and loneliness alleviated.
Praying for the Needy
CWFI have regular prayer meetings to pray for those in need in the community on request. We also have prayer line in this COVID -19 period for people who are stressed, depressed and have lost loved ones to Covid- pandemic.
Evangelism
At CWFI we engage in evangelism in our communities spreading the love of Jesus Christ. We use evangelism to reach out to people in the community and apart from spreading the gospel we inform them of our activities which are beneficial to individuals
